Diesel price rises
almost 23 cents

The price of on-road diesel rose last week to $4.723 per gallon, an increase from the week before of almost 23 cents, according to information from the Department of Energy.

Low sulfur and ultra low sulfur diesel had similar increases, the former rising just over 21 cents per gallon to $4.659 and the latter up almost 23 cents to $4.731. Those prices are almost $2 per gallon higher than for the same time last year.
