Diesel price
continues descent

The price of diesel across the nation continued its descent last week, dropping to $4.207 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy.

The price was 14.6 cents per gallon less than the week before and has been steadily falling since mid-July. Low sulfur diesel also was almost 14 cents less than the week before at $4.102 per gallon. Ultra low sulfur diesel rang up at the pump at $4.219 per gallon, almost 15 cents less.
