CVSA’s Roadcheck 2012 now underway across North America

Jun 5, 2012 5:40 PM

Highway safety enforcement officials are in the midst of the annual 72-hour enforcement blitz called Roadcheck 2012. Organized by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), the campaign runs from June 5-7.

The American Trucking Associations announced its support for the safety enforcement program. “As our partners at CVSA begin their annual enforcement blitz, we at ATA would like to thank them and their member organizations and officers for what they do to keep our highways safe for all travelers,” said Bill Graves, ATA president and chief executive officer. “ATA has long believed that strong, fair enforcement of the rules of the road is critical to ensuring that right-thinking, safety-conscious carriers and drivers, as well as members of the general motoring public, share the road with safe, law-abiding truckers.”
