Atlantic Bulk Carrier named Carrier of the Year by Honeywell

Honeywell recently recognized Atlantic Bulk Carrier Corporation as its 2011 Bulk Tank Truck Carrier of the Year. Honeywell cited the Virginia-based carrier’s safety record, on-time performance, billing efficiency and working relationship in presenting the award.
Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies, along with its logistics provider, Schneider Logistics, presented the award to Atlantic Bulk Carrier earlier this month at its Morristown NJ headquarters. Vice-President J Ward Best and Vice-President of Operations Warren P Groseclose accepted the award on behalf of Atlantic Bulk Carrier.
“This award recognizes the hard work and dedication of all our employees,” said Gary W Short, the founder of Atlantic Bulk Carrier. “We greatly appreciate our relationship with Honeywell and value the partnership we have built over many years.”
Atlantic Bulk Carrier began operations in 1971 and has grown to become Virginia’s largest tank truck carrier, according to Best. Based in Providence Forge VA, Atlantic Bulk Carrier handles liquid and dry materials with operations concentrated in the Southeast.
