Trail King acquired by CC Industries

Trail King Industries, a manufacturer of dry bulk trailers and flatbeds, was acquired by CC Industries. Terms were not disclosed.
CC Industries is part of Henry Crown & Co and is the holding and management company for the Crown family’s privately held companies, which includes Great Dane Trailers.
“Trail King is an exceptional company with a long history of excellence,” says Bill Crown, president and chief executive officer of CC Industries. “We are delighted to add Trail King to the Crown family’s portfolio of transportation equipment companies.”
Trail King will continue to operate as a stand-alone entity, the company says. Carol Lowe will continue as the company’s president.
