Jacqueline S Spangler, a driver for ExxonMobil Corp in Maryland, is among seven women competing in the 2007 National Truck Driving Championships August 21-25 in Minneapolis MN, according to the American Trucking Association, sponsor of the event.

All competitors at the championship event are the individual winners in eight competing categories from each of the 50 states. More women are competing this year than in any other year, ATA said.

Spangler will compete in the tank truck category.
