XATA Corp has announced that Penske Truck Leasing Co LP will offer the XATANET web-based fleet management system to its lease customers throughout North America.

The XATANET application includes streamlined fuel tax reporting, Department of Transportation driver logs, vehicle location tracking, route mapping, vehicle diagnostics and alerts, two-way driver messaging, accident analysis, and performance reporting. Using satellite communications, XATA NET enables fleet managers to manage their vehicles anywhere in North America.

The XATANET product will be integrated into Penske's standard lease product offerings. Penske is concluding its own testing and programming.
