Qualcomm Inc has announced OmniOne, a transportation application for digital mobile phones that will provide a portable communications tool that enables drivers and dispatchers to receive and send load assignments, status updates, and other information. This application is designed to run on Qualcomm's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW) platform.

OmniOne seamlessly integrates with current OmniTRACS and OmniExpress systems, features two-way data and voice communication, data integration, store-and-forward guaranteed messaging, and services such as mapping and directions.
