GPS Management Systems offers the MB3000 — HEU (heavy equipment unit) tracking device, which uses a combination of GPS, cellular, and Internet-based technologies. This system aids in theft prevention and recovery as well as monitoring equipment hours of operation.

Enclosed in a vibration- and weather-resistant case, the unit is primer-coated and ready for custom painting. Specific equipment location information and other data is transmitted via the Aeris MicroBurst network. Map-driven systems and performance data are available in real time from a GPS Management Systems web site.

The MB3000 — HEU includes a starter-disabling device that can be activated after the machine engine is off. This unit provides notification of equipment leaving assigned job sites with warnings sent to beepers, e-mail, and/or fax machines.
