Actaris Neptune has released new configuration software for the Neptune E4000 Electronic Register. The E4000 Configuration Program facilitates initial set-up and data management for this electronic truck meter register.

The program simplifies uploading, editing, and downloading new system and product data between E4000 Electronic Registers and truck operator's computers. With the program, any programming operation that can be performed manually at the truck via the E4000 four-button control panel can be captured and replicated using a hand-held, laptop, or desktop machine.

The program automates downloading configuration changes such as product pricing to multiple trucks. Configuration data can be saved in operator-named files (eg, by individual truck number) on a host computer. The program can generate an E4000 register database for reference away from the truck.
