Vopak takes control of DUPEG terminal

Koninklijke Vopak NV has announced an agreement with its partner Lehnkering GmbH, to acquire the latter's 50% interest in DUPEG Tank-Terminal Deutsch-Ueberseeische Petroleum GmbH & Co (DUPEG). After this acquisition, Vopak takes full ownership of this terminal established in Hamburg, Germany.

Vopak has been co-owner of DUPEG since 1997. It will continue to serve its clients as before under the new name Vopak DUPEG Hamburg.

The DUPEG terminal holds 120 tanks with a combined capacity of 137,000 cubic meters. The terminal has two deep-sea jetties and various loading stations for cars and railway carriages.

This terminal mainly processes a wide range of chemical products. In addition, Vopak operates another terminal for oil products at the same port.
