The National Safety Council will share emerging trends and advances in safety systems at the 17th World Congress on Safety and Health at Work. This event will be held in conjunction with the council's 93rd annual Congress and Expo, set for Sept 18-22, 2005, in Orlando FL.

The World Congress on Safety and Health at Work is an international gathering of more than 3,000 health and safety experts who gather every three years to exchange ideas, research, and best practices on Occupational Safety and Health issues making a global impact. This September marks the first time the World Congress — jointly organized by the National Safety Council, the United Nation's International Labor Organization (ILO), and the International Social Security Association (ISSA) — will be held in the United States.

More than 700 abstracts representing research from 50 nations will be presented. To register or for more information, e-mail media@nsc.org.
