Two new PrePass sites bring total to 230

Two new sites PrePass site have been opened in Florida, bringing total operational sites to 16 in Florida and 230 in all PrePass states combined. The new sites are east and westbound on Interstate 10 at Ellaville FL.

PrePass technology enables qualified motor carriers to comply electronically with state safety and credential requirements at highway speeds. Motor carriers participation is strictly voluntary, and carrier eligibility is subject to state safety qualification standards. Participating carriers pay a nominal fee for each successful bypass.

Launched in California in 1995, PrePass is operational at 230 locations with an additional 37 sites committed to open soon. Twenty-four states have deployed PrePass: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
