Truck World Show Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of New Communications Group Inc, has completed its acquisition of the Truck World trade show from the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA).

Financial terms were not disclosed. As part of the sale agreement, OTA and the Canadian Trucking Alliance, a federation of Canada's seven provincial trucking associations, will endorse the event for the next 10 years.

Truck World Show Corp President Jim Glionna said planning for Truck World 2004 would begin immediately. The show will be held in Toronto, with exact dates and venue to be determined in the coming weeks.

Glionna also announced that Master Promotions Ltd, based in Saint John, New Brunswick, will manage day-to-day operations of Truck World 2004.
