Feb 1, 2007 12:00 PM

The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) has announced that tank truck carrier TransWood Inc's cyanide transport operation in Nevada has been certified as compliant with the International Cyanide Management Code.

A detailed audit accepted by ICMI was prepared by an independent professional third-party audit firm against ICMI's Verification Protocol and found it in full compliance with the code's Principles and Standards of Practice; protecting communities and the environment. The code is a voluntary program for companies involved in using cyanide and companies transporting cyanide.
