Transportation Technologies files for IPO

Transportation Technologies Industries Inc (TTI) has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. All the shares are to be sold by TTI. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. Lehman Brothers and UBS Investment Bank are acting as lead managers of the offering with Credit Suisse First Boston acting as co-manager.

TTI manufactures truck components for the North American heavy- and medium-duty truck industries, including the bus and specialty vehicle markets. Its products are marketed under brand names including Gunite, Imperial, Bostrom, Fabco, and Brillion.
