Transport Service conducts safety contest

Transport Service Co has announced results of its terminal safety contest for 2003. This annual competition recognizes terminals that had the lowest accident frequency in their division. Category I in the Chemical Division includes terminals operating with more than 4 million miles annually, while Category II consists of those with less than 4 million miles. The Food Division's Category I contains terminals operating with more than 3 million miles annually; Category II includes those with less than 3 million miles.

The 2003 Category I Champions are Midland, MI in the Chemical Division and Lafayette IN in the Food Division. Winners in Category II are Kingsport TN in the Chemical Division and Dayton OH in the Food Division.
