TRANSCAER Workshop Planned for Alabama

The Chlorine Institute is sponsoring a TRANSCAER (Transportation Community Awareness & Emergency Response) workshop and emergency response exercise June 15-16, 2001, at the National Guard Armory, Fort Whiting, in Mobile AL. June 15 activities will include classroom instruction, hands-on emergency response workshops, and equipment demonstrations. The next day, Mobile County will test its emergency response plans by responding to a simulated tankcar incident.
