Training School on LNG Use

Chart Applied Technologies will offer a two-day liquefied natural gas (LNG) training school June 5-6, 2001. Training will be offered at Chart's location in Burnsville MN (near Minneapolis). This school will focus on use of LNG as an alternative fuel for vehicles. It will provide basic understanding of the use of LNG in trucks, buses, and other vehicles. Participants will learn how an LNG/LCNG fueling station works and how to maintain and operate an LNG project.

Training will cover the theory of cryogenics, LNG safety and applications, storage tank design, vacuum insulation technology, vehicle and station design, plumbing systems, system installations, system maintenance and repair, and a plant tour.
