TMC Annual Meeting to Explore IT Topics

The Technology and Maintenance Council will offer information technology (IT) sessions, study groups, and task force meetings at its annual meeting and transportation equipment exhibition March 5-8, 2002, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale FL.
Technical sessions will cover IT outsourcing, the future of application service providers, and securing of corporate IT infrastructures. Presentations by IT study groups will include XML (extensible markup language) and its application to trucking, data-capture technologies in supply chain management, workflow for business process improvement, and new trailer tracking interface standards.
