TIP relocates Milwaukee branch to larger facility

Jul 1, 2002 12:00 PM

Transport International Pool (TIP), a GE Capital company, has relocated its Milwaukee WI branch office to Cudahy WI, a suburb of Milwaukee. The larger facility, which serves as an office for TIP and its sister company, GE Capital Modular Space, was established to serve customers better in the Milwaukee area.

TIP invited local fleet operators to the grand opening of the branch April 12, 2002, which featured test drives of the TranSimVS truck driver training simulator from GE Capital I-Sim.

Located at 2024 E Birchwood Avenue, the branch is on an 11-acre site — more than double the size of its previous location. Its lot can accommodate about 120 trailers and 110 modular buildings. The new, 12,000-square-foot facility consists of office space and a two-bay garage for trailer inspection and maintenance. Customers can phone the branch at 414-489-1726.
