The general partner of Sunoco Logistics Partners LP has approved construction of 1.3 million barrels of additional storage capacity and an additional mainline pumping station at its Nederland terminal facility, located on the Sabine-Neches waterway between Beaumont and Port Arthur TX.

These improvements are expected to be operational in first-quarter 2003. Besides expanding storage capacity at the Nederland terminal by about 12% (to 12.5 million barrels, from the current 11.2 million barrels), these improvements also will increase overall throughput capability.
