Labelmaster Software's ShipMate on CD-ROM won the Communicator Award for 2003 in Video/Film/Multi-Media Productions (External Communication-Training). The award recognizes excellence in the communication field.

ShipMate allows companies to cost-effectively train employees at their own pace in a format that is interesting, informative and easy to follow. Topics include: Department of Transportation regulations for all modes of transport; classification of hazardous materials; how to mark, label, and prepare shipping papers; packaging; segregating hazardous materials; emergency response guidelines; how to react in the event of an incident; and security.

Also offered in an online, web-based format, each ShipMate CD-ROM can train up to 25 employees, and features nine separate learning assessments, printable certificates for passing grades, hyperlinks to DOT and other web sites, and optional network capabilities for multiple users.
