Shell, Texaco, Saudi Refining Form Web Portal In an Effort to Provide Online Purchase Capability

Nov 1, 2001 12:00 PM

THE alliance of Shell Oil Company, Texaco, and Saudi Refining have announced their new proprietary internet portal, www.fuelWINDOW.com, that allows commercial customers to purchase fuel online and maintain account information.

FuelWINDOW is a joint project of Motiva commercial marketing and Equilon commercial fuels. The Web site program includes short-term deals, risk-managed pricing, real-time pricing, and online ordering. Customers can maintain all aspects of their accounts, including locations, products, tax, credit, and invoices.

Users of the online service can view general information on Equilon, Motiva, and Commercial Marketing, review descriptions of the products and services offered by Motiva and Equilon, and search for terminals by location and product. They can find safety information such as material safety data sheets. After registering, more information can be obtained such as daily rack prices and account manager contact information. A registered visitor also can sign up to become a new customer with Motiva and Equilon.
