Schneider National Inc is seeking candidates throughout Pittsburgh PA and nearby areas of eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia to fill 150 professional truck driving positions.

The company plans to hire an additional 150 over-the-road drivers and owner-operators. No experience is necessary; Schneider, one of the nation's safest truckload employers, offers a company-paid training program that is recognized as one of the best in the industry for its commitment to operating safety and performance.

Inexperienced drivers are encouraged to apply for the new positions and will earn an average of $34,500-$42,500 in their first year. Experienced drivers will earn an average of $49,500-$58,500 per year. Owner-operators leasing with Schneider will average $135,000-$145,000 annually. Schneider also is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers and owner-operators hired or leased by Sept 1, 2004.

The majority of new drivers will support Schneider's Bulk division, which provides liquid bulk transportation of primarily non-hazardous specialty chemicals.
