Pumper, Cleaner Expo draws large crowds

ALTHOUGH some sectors of the tank truck industry have been experiencing downturns, liquid waste hauling may be the exception if turnout at the 2002 Pumper and Cleaner Environmental Expo is an example. The exposition drew more than 9,900 visitors to the Opryland Hotel convention center in Nashville, Tennessee, February 27 through March 2. Both attendees and exhibitors outnumbered the previous year's count.
More than 368 exhibitors participated in the equipment show. Next year's meeting is scheduled Feb 19-22 at the Opryland Hotel.
