PTDI certifies driver education program

The Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) Commercial Driver Education program recently received certification from the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI) for its truck driver training course.
Schools applying for PTDI course certification must receive an onsite visit from an evaluation team that examines school records and practices to verify compliance with PTDI standards. A Certification Commission then reviews results of the visit and other supporting documents before certifying.
