The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) awarded its top honor, the Manufacturer of the Year Award, to OPW Fueling Components at its 50th annual membership meeting in San Diego CA recently. Circle of Excellence Awards also were presented. Recipients were Tokheim Corp, Morrison Bros Co, EBW Inc, and Marconi Commerce Systems.

Criteria for Manufacturer of the Year and Circle of Excellence Awards include commitment to marketing through distributors, competitive pricing, honest business practices, good product availability, and responsive customer service.

The membership meeting was conducted during Convex 2000, the 50th annual international convention and trade show sponsored by PEI, with more than 4,100 delegates in attendance. Philip W Cruzen, PEI president, presented the awards.
