Patent office OKs more Safefreight claims

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has allowed 15 more claims under patent 10/703,528 for Safefreight Technology's SecurityGuard, a system for cargo security and mobile asset management with a primary focus on tractor trailers.

Claims for the onboard alarm system focus on system functionality, including events related to alarm and sensor alerts, vehicle location via GPS, and the software for processing and recording these events. A total of 17 claims have been allowed under this patent.

Safefreight's technology is designed to enhance the security and management of mobile assets, including tractors, tractor-trailers, hazmat tank trailers, delivery vans, sea-going containers, and other conveyances.
