Pac Ex 2 measures combustible gases

Feb 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Draeger Safety Inc introduces the Pac Ex 2, a compact and rugged hand-held, combustible gas and oxygen monitoring device.

Easy to operate, the Pac Ex 2 features a clear, functional LCD concentration display with audible, visual, and vibrating alarms to provide personal protection. An optional sample pump permits confined-space measurements.

One application of the Pac Ex 2 is the ability to measure combustible gases in the 0-100% LEL range, and the range of 0-25% volume oxygen. Covering these ranges, the Pac Ex 2 ideally measures for smaller leaks as well as larger concentrations in the oil and gas, petrochemical, utilities, mining, and shipping industries. This unit has a battery life of more than 12 hours between charges, and the RFI-protected housing guards against the environment.
