Jan 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Oil Purification Systems, based in Shelton CT, developer and manufacturer of the OPS-1 on-board oil refining system, has opened a new manufacturing plant in Waterbury CT.

The company began operations at the 8,260-square-foot facility December 1. The opening of the new, larger facility completes Oil Purification Systems' relocation from Florida, and will expand the company's production, quality assurance, and product development capabilities.

The OPS-1 on-board oil refining system removes the solid and liquid contaminants from engine oil.
