Nova Fabricating Inc Files for Chapter 7

Nova Fabricating Inc, a stainless steel cargo tank manufacturer based in Avon MN, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation bankruptcy July 30, 2001. A creditor meeting is set for September 4 at the federal courthouse in Minneapolis MN. The company reported assets of $2.59 million and debts of $2.64 million. Nova ceased operations earlier this year in the face of industrywide plummeting demand for new stainless steel cargo tanks.
