New RSPA Administrator Named

Ellen G Engleman, president and chief executive officer of Electricore Inc in Indianapolis IN, has been selected by the Bush Administration to serve as administrator of the Research and Special Programs Administration (RSPA).Engleman is an attorney and accredited public relations professional with 20 years experience in public and governmental affairs, public policy, and administration. She has specialized expertise in strategic planning, new business development, and federal/state/private sector and university partnerships for research, development, demonstration, and deployment for advanced transportation and energy technology development, federal programs, policies, and contract administration.
At Electricore, Engleman led a research and development federal partnership initiated by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and now under contract with the Departments of Defense, Transportation, Energy, Army, Air Force, Navy, and Interior. The non-profit research and development consortium develops advanced transportation and energy technologies through federal private/public partnerships.
