For the ninth consecutive year, Jackson MS-based tank truck carrier Miller Transporters Inc has been named a Readers' Choice award winner by Logistics magazine in its annual Quest for Quality edition. The Quest for Quality survey, now in its 19th year, is a customer perception study of transportation firms.

The award, viewed by many shippers as the industry's equivalent of the Baldrige Quality Award, is based on a carrier's rating in on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations. Only carriers that excel in all five areas achieve the Readers' Choice designation.
