Midwest 1040 designed for cement market

Heil Trailer International (HTI) announces the release of a lightweight 1,040-cubic-foot trailer specifically designed for the Midwest cement market. The Midwest 1040 includes aluminum endframes and struts, soft-coat protected suspensions, powdercoated landing gear, and fully enclosed electrical harness, all designed to improve corrosion resistance and reduce operating costs of the unit. Additionally, the trailer includes three manholes, 25-psi construction, parallel spindles (accommodates wide-base tires), aluminum wheels, lightweight Hendrickson Intraax NT suspension and HTI's warranty. The unit is designed to maximize payload and weighs approximately 8,200 pounds with wide-base tires.
