Manfredi Forms Distribution Technologies Inc

Manfredi Motor Transit Co has formed Distribution Technologies Inc (DisTech), a separate corporation charged with expanding the organization's supply chain management capabilities. DisTech will be based in Cleveland OH; Manfredi will continue to be based in Newbury OH.
The new DisTech portfolio includes the companies that formerly comprised the Specialty Operating Group of Manfredi Motor Transit. They are: Dedicated Transport, a contract carrier specializing in local and over-the-road trucking services; Manfredi Logistics Solutions, a specialty bulk delivery service; and Manfredi Special Services, an intermediate bulk container (IBC) tote cleaning and repair service.
Frank Wagner, who has been president of Dedicated Transport since its inception in 1988, will lead DisTech as president and chief operating officer. Before starting Dedicated Transport, he held several positions with Leaseway Transportation during his 23-year tenure with the carrier, including vice-president of operations for the Midwest region.
