Leak detector can inspect cramped areas

Tracer Products' new Quad Max Pro is a cordless tool that combines three ultraviolet LEDs for leak detection and one white LED for regular inspection. A 12" (30-cm) flexible extension allows the unit to be maneuvered around hoses, fittings, and other obstructions in cramped underhood areas. This makes it simple to pinpoint hard-to-reach air-conditioning and fluid leaks. An adjustable service mirror reflects leaks hidden from direct view.
The unit's three UV LEDs deliver triple the UV power output to make all leaks glow brighter. A touch of a switch converts this “two-in-one” tool from a UV inspection light to a regular flashlight. Each solid-state LED has an average rated life of 100,000 hours.
