Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co is accepting nominees for its 2003 North America Highway Hero award, which is given to a driver who was heroic or risked life and limb to help others on the road. To be considered for the award, the nominee must be a full-time truck driver, a resident of the United States or Canada, and the incident recognized must have occurred in the United States or Canada.

The nominee must have been on the job or on the way to or from work, and in his or her rig at the time of the incident. The nominee's truck at the time of the incident must have 14 wheels or more, and the incident must have taken place between Dec 1, 2002, and Nov 15, 2003, to qualify.
