ITCO joins international technical committee

The International Tank Container Organization (ITCO) has been accepted into the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee, ISO/TC 104. The TC 104 committee meets regularly to provide a technical forum for planning and development of standards via an open exchange of engineering and operational expertise.
Standards developed in TC 104 include design and testing of all types of intermodal freight containers, including ISO 1496-3 standards specific to tank containers. The various TC 104 standards have become the baseline for infrastructure projects worldwide, according to ITCO information.
