IMHA names scholarship for Johnston

Jan 1, 2005 12:00 PM

A scholarship program has been established in the name of the late Bruce Johnston by the International Milk Haulers Association (IMHA). Johnston, a longtime association member who served on the board of directors, died at his home in Rosebush MI in August 2002. The scholarship will be used to encourage others to enter the milk transportation industry. There are eight scholarship possibilities for $250, each available for the school year 2005-06.

Scholarship funds will come from individual donations and from profits from the golf tournament conducted every year at the IMHA annual meeting. The next meeting is scheduled April 24-26, 2005, at Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville TN. For more information about the scholarship, access www.milkhauler.org, phone Cherie Tuhus at 608-827-6355, or e-mail her at tuhus@chorus.net.
