Higginbotham & Associates, an independent insurance brokerage firm, has formed a dedicated Transportation Division, naming insurance executive Bill Spain managing director of the unit. Spain will continue to build the property and casualty business within the firm's Dallas TX office, as well as apply his 12 years of experience in the trucking and transportation industry to the newly established division.

Insurance coverages offered through Higginbotham & Associates' Transportation Division include liability, physical damage, cargo, inland marine, and other specialized transportation coverages, as well as traditional property/casualty and employee benefits.
