John H Hill, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) chief safety officer and assistant administrator, has been nominated to head the agency as administrator. Hill came to FMCSA from the Indiana State Police, where he was the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division commander. David H Hugle has been selected to be FMCSA's deputy administrator. He served three years as Maryland Division of Motor Vehicles administrator.
