FBT wins TG Crane Health & Safety Award

The Plastics and Chemical Industry Association (PACIA) held its national conference May 30 — June 1, 2004, in Melbourne, Australia. Some 190 delegates attended this conference, sponsored mainly by BASF.
Among awards presented was the TG Crane Health & Safety Award 2003, sponsored by Orica Australia Pty Ltd. FBT Operations Pty Ltd won this award for handling, storage, and decanting of hydrogen peroxide on behalf of Degussa NZ Pty Ltd & Solvay Interox Pty Ltd. These companies each hold about 50% of the Australian market.
Other nominees for the award were Atofina Australia, Orica Australia, Qenos Australia, and R Max.
