Exel will operate a 500,000-square-foot warehouse, currently under construction, for ExxonMobil's Baton Rouge LA polymer storage. The facility, expected to be fully operational before the end of 2004, is part of a larger supply chain system.

Besides operating the warehouse, Exel will provide design and facility construction consulting services to help Exxon Mobil develop a system that optimizes supply chain efficiencies at the site. Exel will also provide shuttle services between local ExxonMobil plants and the new warehouse.

Exel's campus in Houston TX provides warehousing, packaging, and transportation management services for Exxon Mobil's products. Exel also manages North American transportation for many ExxonMobil business units.
