Distribution Technologies Inc (DistTech) has been honored by the Sunoco Inc Transportation Group with its 2005 Tank Truck Carrier of the Year Award. This marks the fifth consecutive year that DistTech has been honored with a Carrier of the Year Award by Sunoco.

Sunoco's award selection is based on a core carrier's safety and service performance to the company's customers throughout the year. The criteria includes outstanding on-time delivery, on-time loading, accident performance, and load acceptance.

DistTech won the Carrier of the Year Award based on the performance of its Ironton OH terminal, which transports liquid chemicals from Sunoco's facility in Haverhill OH to more than 100 locations east of the Mississippi River.
