DAC Services merges with STAUnited

Mar 1, 2002 12:00 PM

DAC Services, provider of screening services for the trucking industry, recently acquired and merged with STAUnited, a provider of drug and alcohol testing services. To reflect this union, the company has changed its name to DAC/STA.

This company provides custom solutions to meet the needs of trucking companies. Cornerstones of the DAC/STA program are proprietary databases and a Department of Transportation-compliant testing program.

The Employment History File — a database of more than 4 million records on terminated drivers — offers access to millions of detailed work histories. DAC/STA also provides direct access to the Commercial Driver License Information System (CDLIS), allowing employers to verify CDL information before requesting MVRs. Plus, the 20/20 file, a criminal database built from searches previously ordered by trucking companies, offers access to known criminal histories.

DAC/STA also has a new logo and an updated web site accessible at www.dacsta.com.
