John Conley assumed the leadership of the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) January 1, following the retirement of Cliff Harvison.

“It is an honor to be just the third president of an organization that was founded in 1945,” Conley said. “I look forward to ensuring that NTTC continues to provide the services that our industry has the right to expect.”

Conley joined NTTC as vice-president in 1989 after serving for 10 years as editor of Modern Bulk Transporter (now Bulk Transporter).

Other NTTC staff changes include Tom Lynch, former legislative director for Rep Nick Rahall (D-WV), who was named vice-president and general counsel, and Laura Niel, who was named finance and administration director.
