COSTHA adds training to annual forum program
The Conference on Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles (COSTHA) has expanded its annual meeting program, “Maintaining the Balance — Hazardous Materials Safety and Security.” In conjunction with the meeting, set for April 8-9, 2003, at Austin TX's Downtown Omni Austin Hotel, COSTHA members will provide this additional training:

Oliver North to address convention luncheon
At the Midwest Propane Gas Convention and Trade Show, set for March 14-16, 2003, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis IN, Oliver North will be keynote speaker at the Employee Day Luncheon. This luncheon is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 12:30 pm.
North is a combat-decorated United States Marine, best-selling author, founder of a small business, inventor with three US patents, syndicated columnist, former candidate for the US Senate, host of a nationally syndicated daily radio show, and host of “War Stories” on the Fox News television channel.

MRTI gains market share
Michelin Retread Technologies Inc (MRTI) has seen an increase in its market share since the beginning of 2002. “The United States retread market is down 1.1% through September, but MRTI sales are up 16.4% versus the same period last year,” said Tom Brennan, director of commercial business — southeastern region, Michelin Americas Truck Tires.
