Centeron Secures Safety Approvals in Canada

Robertshaw Industrial Products Division of Maryville TN announces safety approvals for the Centeron remote tank level monitoring system in Canada. The system's RF/capacitance and gauge-based monitors received CAN/CSA C22.2 approvals for intrinsically safe use in hazardous locations. The Centeron controller received Industry Canada Terminal Equipment Certification Specification CS03 Issue 8.
The Centeron system measures tank levels and sends data using DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) wireless technology. This system gives distributors the information they need to make only scheduled deliveries based on tank fill priorities.
