Canadian National Completes WC Acquisition

Canadian National (CN) has completed its acquisition of Wisconsin Central Transportation Corp (WC) and began a phased integration of the companies' operations.
WC — now CN's Wisconsin Central Division — forms a strategic link in CN's North American Free Trade Agreement network between Chicago IL, Superior WI, and its transcontinental oil network across Canada.
Sales and marketing representatives are contacting WC customers to explain CN's structure and integration plan. WC's existing commerce applications will remain in place over the near term at the web site accessible at www.cn.ca.
